We had this tested once with Xenophon and my dps increased for about 5%. So, it's most likely something like 10% weapon damage bonus, which is already a great stuff.

Yeah I checked it out this evening in group.

It gives the group...
+5% Base Spell Damage
+45% Weapon Damage (Melee)
+45% Weapon Damage (Ranged)
